| Strube Inc. is a privately held small business incorporated
in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1958 by William P. Strube.
By the early 1970s the company had become one of the dominant U.S. suppliers
of military surplus aircraft instruments and instrument components.
Customers range from FAA Repair Shops and Commercial Brokers to Commercial
Airlines and Department of Defense (DOD) and Service Logistics Organizations.
In 1973, the company established MRO Business Unit, FAA Repair Station
OX1R390X. This allowed the company to draw upon its huge inventory
and provide its customer community with Overhaul-Repair-Certification of
Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 instruments.
Also during the early 1970s the company implemented a MIL-I-45208 Quality
System and moved into manufacture and overhaul of aircraft instruments
for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and other DOD agencies.
